3 Year Old & Family Session Downtown {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga Photographer}

The first session of a new season always leaves me so excited for all of the sessions to come with the many positives that season has to offer..  Especially when it's Spring, on a gorgeous day, with a beautiful family, and a fun, happy little one!  I felt like I just went for a stroll with old friends and loved seeing how much sweet Adelaide has grown since I last saw her.  Here's a peek at our walk around the park in Atlanta:

One Year Old In-Home Session {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga Family Photographer}

      This handsome little man just turned one and I was so excited to get to see him and his sweet family again. He could not have been cuter in his matching suit w/ his daddy, though of course he was deliciously squeezable for his cake smash too! Loved getting to know William's happy, active, little personality and getting to see how much big sis Anna Grace has grown too!

Here's a little peek at my session with this beautiful family:

C's Newborn Session Sneak Peek {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga. Family and Baby Photographer}

I first met this sweet family when adorable big sis MB was just 6 months old. Flash forward a year and beautiful baby Campbell has joined the family and what a lucky girl she is! I look forward to capturing sweet moments w/ both of these little ladies again throughout Campbell's first year!

R Family Session {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga. and Woodstock, Ga. Baby Photographer}

    After the winter/holiday photo season rush it's always a little weird for me when things slow down. It takes me a little while to adjust to the calmer pace and turn my focus to business matters (and taxes, yuck), but it also helps me to step back and truly remember what I love about my job...the sessions, the art, and the inspiration. The other stuff is necessary of course, but I am so glad 2015 is about to get busy this week and I am so ready to get shooting more again! Now can we just keep the 60 degree weather around a little longer please??

    I was excited and eager to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day with this lovely family, who happen to be long time friends of mine. 3 month old Kate was not so sure what to think of her new surroundings and happenings, but certainly is as cute as can be in her cozy bear suit, and big sister was happy to entertain me when her lil sis needed a few breaks. Such adorable girls, and I can tell already they are going to have a very sweet sister bond.

M Extended Family Session {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga Baby and Family Photographer}

  I had to take a little break on blogging during the Fall season this year. My focus was on getting sessions out on time so that families could get their holiday cards and gift prints ordered. But I have to say that I worked with so many awesome families over the past few months and it was an amazing season! Thank you to you ALL!

This was my last session of 2014 and it couldn't have been with a nicer group. This proud grandmother wanted some photos while she had everyone in town at the same time and it really is a special time in their lives as her cute, camera ham grandson is 1 year old, one of her sons is recently engaged, and the other beautiful couple is expecting! So much to look forward to in their year ahead! We met at her beautiful home and in spite of the drizzly, dark day, had a very nice time and a session that I left from with a big smile plastered on my face. Her excitement to have her loved ones all there with her was contagious!

Abby's 1 Year Old Session Peek {Lisa Rappa Photography | Roswell, Atlanta, Ga Baby Photographer}

I knew I was going to love working with this family from the moment Abby's momma emailed me. I could sense her excitement for this session in honor of her baby girl turning 1 and that excitement was contagious! I can tell you honestly that Abby truly is such a little angel and was a joy to work with. I loved her big smiles at her daddy and how she snuggled up to her mom. She has the cutest little dimples and such a sweet little personality even with teething and not feeling 100%. I loved meeting them all and here is a little peek at my time with them:

D Family Session Peek {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga Baby and Child Photographer}

 I knew I was going to enjoy this session the minute this sweet family stepped out of their car. Not just because they looked fabulous, but because they also seemed so happy and ready to just have fun. Adorable 3 year old big brother William was not a bit shy and his fun loving energy was contagious and 3 month old Madison couldn't be more precious. She needed a little mid session nap, but even flashed a cute smile during that.  I couldn't have loved this session more and can't wait to see this lovely family again! Here's just a small peek at the fun we had:

Harper's One Year Old Session and Cake Smash Peek {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga. Baby & Family Photography}

    I first met this cutie's awesome family when 3 year old big brother Grayson was just 5 five days old, so it's just crazy to me that last week we met up for Harper's 1 year old photos! Time truly does fly by with little ones!  Harper has the most easy going little personality and has been a little sweetheart at all of her sessions..she didn't even mind sharing her cake. ;)

It has been such an honor to get to photograph both of these two cuties throughout their first years and to get to know their sweet family.  I hope you had the best of first birthday's sweet girl!

Fearsome: 4 and 5 {A Personal Post} {Lisa Rappa Photography | Atlanta, Ga Family and Child Photographer}

Something crazy happened this summer....I went from being a mom of a 3 and 4 year old to being a mom of a 4 and 5 year old. Yes, two KIDS. Not two BABIES. Though they will be my babies forever, I notice little changes in them even after a week goes by, and just want to press pause so often. I always had a goal to document every stage, funny moment, things they've said, etc....but I've let myself down with all of that. Life gets very busy and I just haven't been able to keep up with a regular personal blog. Thankfully, there is no shortage of pictures (hopefully will get them all completed, PRINTED, and organized one day soon) that will hopefully tell a lot of their story one day.  But I do still want to try to sneak some personal posts in when I can though!

So basically, I really don't plan little sessions often with my two. It's more like "hey that's cute- let me grab my camera."  But when we were at Target last month and my son wanted these super cute Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pajamas and my daughter chimed in that she did too, you know my photographer alarm went off!  So luckily, this was a win-win for all of us.

After bath time that day, we stepped outside to hang by the sewer for just a few minutes (b/c you know, that's where Ninja Turtles live) and I asked them to show me their best Ninja skills and they didn't disappoint. I sure am glad this fearless duo has my back! ;) I do look at these with mommy goggles and all I can see is exactly how I would sum these two up at these ages...silly, affectionate, close (I SO hope they stay this close), and just plain carefree.

Here's some of the fun I had with my lil Ninja Turtles, who thankfully are NOT teenagers just yet! Nothing fancy, just so THEM.

We were about to head in...but then the sun started peeking through at just the right spot, so I couldn't resist just a few more w/ some golden hour light of course....luckily they still were willing to humor me.
